What’s in my bag?

For a Christmas and a new job treat I bought myself a Longchamp navy backpack- one I had sought after for ages! I have rarely put it down and at the moment is my go-to bag.

Longchamp backpackIt’s extra comfy with the double straps and the small size is great for lightweight travel.               EssentialsI always have my purse with card and spare cash as well as my loyalty cards ( I have *way* too many of these that I probably have only used once!) My oyster is in a rose gold card case from Accessorize that I picked up for £2.75 in the sales. I am obsessed with pretty much everything rose gold so it was perfect for me! And of course my keys that I can’t go anywhere without!Make up in my bag

My non-essential essentials are my make up pieces that allow for a smooth touch up throughout the day. I have a Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer for fixing any blemishes, the lipstick I am wearing that day (again for touch up), a lipsalve which I believe is especially important in the cold weather and a handcream to soften my hands through the day. Recently, I also added Boots oil absorbing sheets to my bag to matte my skin which I recommend to anyone who gets oily skin during the day.

Make sure you stay up to date and subscribe!

Autumn edit

Autumn edit

I’m back! I’ve been away for a few weeks as I start to get back into a routine and as I start college next Monday so I have been busily preparing!

Today I come to you with my Autumn Edit, a mixed bag of skirts, jumpers, shoes and more. These are the styles I want to be wearing this Autumn and an inspiration for you if you want to switch up your wardrobe this season.
I have featured a lot of denim, especially as this never goes out of style, however if you like a more feminine look, I included some a-line skirts that would kill it this year paired with some tights and booties!
Do you have any of these items or have a classic Autumn staple? Let me know in the comments below!

Cara Delevingne- Look for less

Cara- Look for less

Cara Delevingne is one of my favourite models ever, not just because of her looks but also her funny and down to Earth personality. As it is pouring today 😦 , I thought I would post an autumn look for less that can be worn now, straight through ’til spring!

The Fur Keychain

The fur keychain is an unusual but cute and highly addictive trend that as been used by some of the hottest brands including Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld and in some of the hottest blogs such as The Blonde Salad (see below). Although originally these tiny charms came with a £££ price tag, as the trend has set off they are becoming increasingly easier to buy. For example H&M sell a baby pink one for only £2.99. Furthermore, if you want a slightly more upmarket quality chain you can go for a Rebecca Minkoff for £16.

The Fur Keychain
This is one of the easiest trends to apply, minimalistic effort for a huge fashion uplift in your style. Simply attach your chosen chain to the front or side of your bag and voilà! But beware: this can become highly addictive if you decide you love you fur pom pom and want to buy more colours and variations to match all your bags!
This is a love/hate trend so let me know in the comments where you stand!

Bags to die for

A compact list of the bags I am pining after.

Although I kinda want *every* Chanel bag that’s out there, the backpack, ‘Lego’ clutch and flip bag are the Major Must Haves. The backpack would be perfect for everyday and I love the grunge, casual feel it has.

Of course the classic Speedy is on here but I also LOVE the Alma PM. The pastel hue gives it a cutsey edge and looks preppy with the patent shine.

Now *this* is my all time favourite bag that I am totally pining over. It’s on sale at BrandAlley yet I still don’t have enough for it :(. This can be casual or dressy and the white bag will look prestine with any outfit.

This longchamp backpack would be perfect for school and the practicality is great as well as it looking ultra chic so can be worn anywhere.

Fit for a princess

With cascading layers of tulle falling around you, you place you hands delicately on the skirt surrounding you, falling to the floor. You are enveloped in a cloud of silk and peticoat, standing in a dress fit for a princess.
Isn’t this what every girl dreams of?

You see celebrites every day, waltzing around the red carpet wearing Chanel, Valentino, Elie Saab. Even though you’ll probably never get the chance to wear a dress like this, it doesnt hurt to look, right?

Oscar De La Renta Needle and thread Halston Heritage

I could imagine myself attending a sophisticated soiree or a red carpet event in a dress like these, I like to while away the time dreaming of scenarios like this.
Have you ever seen the Harrods evening wear space? The luxurious brands and incredible detail is gown Heaven!
A dress like this would make someone feel elegant, beautiful and make the whole room look at her.
I do wish I could own a gown from one of the most coveted brands; Valentino, Chanel, Elie Saab, Emilio Pucci, however just looking online and in stores (Bloomingdales, Harrods) is the second best thing for me.
Here’s a few gowns I’ve fallen in love with and believe are fit for a princess:

These can be all found on my Polyvore.

Do you love doing this or have any favourite stores to go in and have a nose around? Let me know in the comments!

Summer Sunnies

Hi guys!

After this long awaited mini heatwave that we had in the UK over the last week and a half, I have been wearing sunglasses very often.
Not only do they practically protect your eyes from the sun, but they look super cute and can give the je ne sais quoi of an outfit. Whether they be aviators, Ray Bans or cat eye sunglasses, they can be used to pull an outfit together and look very chic.

My 2 favourite sunglasses at the moment are my Ray Ban clubmasters and my cat eye sunglasses from Primark for £2!!

From top: Ray Bans, Primark, Dorothy Perkins, Primark, Ray Bans

Whatever mood I’m feeling, whatever outfit, I can always find a pair of sunnies to match. I tend to mix and match between casual wear- which is when I use my aviators and Ray Bans most- and more preppy/ chic- which is when I tend to go for the cat eyes as they add class with the flick of the eyes- in the summer, always with some sunnies to match.

If you’re feeling the heat and need a new pair here are some more of my favourties for this year:
